The Concert

Kick-start your evening with a 60-minute Half Six Fix concert. Introduced by the performers, with screens in the hall to bring you closer to the action.

The Music

Golfam Khayam’s Je ne suis pas une fable à conter is a new work, taking inspiration from the richness and creative abundance of Persian carpets. Haydn’s spritely Symphony No 39 is delicate and determined, light but vigorous. The Miraculous Mandarin, meanwhile, defies death in one of Bartók’s most thrilling scores.

The supremely versatile Barbara Hannigan both sings and conducts the LSO in these glorious pieces.
