The Event
Join us for a morning of free performances, workshops and refreshments. Everyone is invited!
LSO St Luke’s is the London Symphony Orchestra’s venue and the home of LSO Discovery, our music education and community programme. We’ve been welcoming audiences, participants and performers through our doors for over 20 years, and we’d love to show you around.
We’re throwing open our doors on 9 May for a free open morning, showcasing just some of the activities that take place in our venue. Whether you’re a regular at our events, or stepping foot inside for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity to take part and discover something new. We can’t wait to welcome you!
Young people and under-5s can take part in creative activities, and everyone can get involved in a ‘Come and Sing’ workshop hosted by Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir. Inside the Jerwood Hall, soak up the sounds of music performances by instrumentalists on LSO Discovery’s Emerging Artists programme and the Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir, who will be singing songs that showcase a variety of gospel styles, from traditional spirituals to contemporary songs. Scroll down to see the full list of performances and activities.
Members of the LSO team will be on-hand to tell you more about what we do, and we’ll be serving light refreshments throughout the morning.
