Join London Symphony Chorus Director Mariana Rosas and members of the LSC to celebrate the LSC’s 60th birthday and spend a day getting to know Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony.
Whether you sing in a local choir, or haven’t sung since school, this is a great opportunity to try something new or rediscover your hobby. We’ll be singing from the score, so some experience of reading music will help.

Getting here
All sessions take place at LSO St Luke’s, 161 Old Street, London EC1V 9NG. Please use the main entrance at the front of the building (facing Old Street). The building will be open from 9am and the Jerwood Hall doors will open at 9.30am. Please ensure you are seated in the Jerwood Hall by 10.25am in time for the first workshop. Seats in the hall will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis from the front of the hall backwards according to voice type.

Music
Music will be provided for the day and will be available for collection from 9am in the Hawksmoor Space in LSO St Luke’s. Score hire is included in your ticket price. Please collect your music before the session starts at 10:30am. Music scores must be returned at the end of the day.
Refreshments
Please note that lunch is not provided, but the Bar will be open in the Hawksmoor Space in LSO St Luke’s will be open from 9am and throughout the day for the purchase of tea, coffee and light refreshments. Please note that eating and drinking is not permitted in the Jerwood Hall.
Dress code
There is no dress code – just wear something comfortable!
