The Concert
What would your favourite film be like without music? Would the action still feel exciting, the characters still feel brave, or the magic truly take off? Music from the Movies is a fun, family-friendly concert that reveals just how important music is to the stories we see on screen.
You’ll hear thrilling music from Pirates of the Caribbean, How to Train Your Dragon and The Polar Express, all performed by the London Symphony Orchestra – the very Orchestra whose playing has helped bring Harry Potter, Star Wars and countless other films to life.
But this isn’t just a concert – it’s a behind-the-scenes musical adventure! We’ll discover how film scores are written, what it’s like when the LSO records a soundtrack in the studio, and we’ll even get to sing with the Orchestra and the London Youth Choir in one of the most thrilling works ever written!
