Obituary: Robin Brightman, 1949–2023

The London Symphony Orchestra is saddened to hear of the death of Robin Brightman, member of the Violin section from 1977 to 2009.

Robin Brightman was a member of the LSO Violin section from 1977 to 2009. He served on the Board of Directors for ten years from 1991 to 2001. Robin passed away suddenly on the 30 December 2023. He was 74. 

We send our condolences to Robin’s family and friends.
