Precision Mixing and Immersive Sound
The Audio Control Room (ACR) at LSO St Luke’s is a bespoke studio designed to meet the highest standards of audio content creation, including critical listening, mixing and immersive post-production. Built as a home for artists, producers and composers working across any style or genre, the ACR also supports the LSO’s renowned recording work.
Featuring a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 reference monitoring system with ATC speakers and an Avid S4 console, the room delivers accuracy and flexibility for mixing, recording and spatial audio work.
For filmed projects, the neighbouring Master Control Room (MCR) provides a dedicated camera gallery for high-definition capture in this stunning Grade 1 listed building.
Designed in consultation with Munro Acoustics, the ACR is acoustically transparent, allowing for critical listening of your recording and offering a high‑quality, modern studio environment in the heart of London.

The recording studio is available for mixing and mastering sessions, film and TV score recording, orchestral and ensemble recording, audio-visual production, and voice and podcast recording. It can be hired on its own or alongside another space at LSO St Luke’s.

As part of an active venue, the studio is scheduled around LSO St Luke’s wider programme. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible, six weeks or more in advance is typical for full-day sessions. If you have a specific date in mind, get in touch to check availability.
Yes – the studio and Jerwood Hall can be booked alongside the LSO for recording sessions, subject to orchestral availability and project suitability. Get in touch with an outline of your project and we’ll advise on what’s possible.
