At LSO St Luke’s we are fully committed to making the venue as accessible as possible. The building is on three levels, all with lift access. The performance space and the Stalls of the Jerwood Hall are at ground level, and the Jerwood Hall has a tiered seating bank.

Barbican Access Membership Scheme
LSO St Luke’s uses the Barbican Box Office service for most events. We encourage audience members to join the Barbican Access Membership Scheme. As an Access Booker, you will be able to book access tickets. Wheelchair places are available for all events and if you need the assistance of an essential companion, you will also be able to book a free ticket for them.
LSO St Luke’s Public Access information video
This public access video offers information on the main entrance, box office and other locations within LSO St Luke’s.
Main Entrance
Ramps allow easy access to the entrance. Once inside the building, there is level access to the Jerwood Hall and all levels. Automatic doors provide a route to the lift in the northwest stairwell, which goes up to the Balcony or down to The Hawksmoor Space, giving full access to the public areas of both levels.
From the Artists Entrance a lift goes down to The Hawksmoor Space, from which access to The Hawksmoor Space facilities is on one level.

Concert Hall
Seating
The Jerwood Hall has two levels, Stalls and Balcony.
When in use for a concert, there is a tiered seating bank that starts at row GG at the rear of the Stalls then goes to rows A to F, with rows of linked chairs on floor level in front of the stage (starting row AA). Please note that the seating bank is accessed via central aisles which do not have handrails. There are wheelchair accessible spaces at the Stalls level on either side of the floor-level seating on the front and back rows.
The Balcony has a single row of seats that wrap around the auditorium, plus a second raised row facing the stage. There is lift access and some of the fixed seating can be removed to make three wheelchair positions available.
Personal Receivers
We have personal receivers for use with our hearing assistance system, with or without a hearing aid. These can be collected from the main entrance for concerts and on request from a member of LSO St Luke’s staff for other events. Please phone in advance to ensure that we have sufficient receivers available, as numbers are limited.
Assistance Dogs
If you would like your dog to remain with you in the auditorium or for someone to look after your dog please contact a member of LSO St Luke’s staff to arrange this in advance.
Facilities
There are three accessible toilets, all in the basement, accessible via The Hawksmoor Space. Two are adjacent to the public toilets and can be reached by crossing The Hawksmoor Space. One of these facilities is equipped with a hoist and changing bench. If you would like to make use of this, please bring along your sling. The third accessible toilet is for staff/performers and is located in the service corridor near the conductor’s green room. Members of staff can give directions to this facility when appropriate.
The Hawksmoor Space is open from one hour before performances and is accessible via the lift.

Disabled parking spaces are sometimes available directly outside of LSO St Luke’s. To book a space, please call LSO St Luke’s in advance on +4420 7490 3939.
