The LSO is conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano at the 64th Stresa Festival’s closing concert, alongside cellist Mario Brunello, who is Artistic Director of the Festival.
The concert takes in two masterpieces: Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and Schumann’s Cello Concerto, alongside Shostakovich’s ‘Classical’ Symphony No 9.
