The LSO is looking for Choral Leaders

LSO Discovery is pleased to be opening expressions of interest for two new choral leaders to join their Music Team for the LSO Community Voices.

Published:

The LSO Community Voices is a project choir, formed each year to culminate in a concert led by Dr André J Thomas, with the London Symphony Orchestra, the London Symphony Chorus and Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir. The choir is formed of around 250 community voices from all over London, who rehearse for two months prior to the concert at LSO St Lukes. They learn a programme of gospel music, set for symphonic chorus and orchestra, create community and build musical skills for life. This is a free programme for all singers, with resources provided for all levels of musical knowledge.

LSO Community Voices is led by David Lawrence (Choral Director), and supported by Emily Dickens (Associate Conductor) and Clarence Hunte (Gospel Consultant)

To express your interest, and join a database of choral leaders that we may work with in the future, please contact isobel.way@lso.co.uk with your relevant experience and any other organisations you may currently be working with, where we might be able to see you work.
