Obituary: Dennis Gaines, 1935–2023

The London Symphony Orchestra is saddened to hear of the death of Dennis Gaines, member of the Violin section from 1966 to 1988.

Dennis Gaines was an LSO Member from 1966 to 1988, and served on the Board of Directors in the mid-1970s.  He returned to his homeland of Australia when he left the LSO in 1988. Dennis passed away in August in Western Australia aged 88.  

We extend our condolences to Dennis’ family and friends.
