LSO Live has been awarded Label of the Year at the 2026 International Classical Music Awards (ICMA), recognising the label’s artistic excellence, innovation and commitment to bringing the London Symphony Orchestra’s music to audiences around the world.
The ICMA jury praised LSO Live for its consistently high-quality recordings, broad selection of major repertoire, and its distinctive artist-led approach to recording. Founded in 1999 as one of the first orchestra-owned record labels, LSO Live has become an internationally respected imprint, releasing recordings that capture the orchestra at the heart of its artistic life in the Barbican and beyond.
The International Classical Music Awards are among the most prestigious accolades in the classical music industry, celebrating excellence in recorded music and recognising outstanding artistic achievement across labels, artists and institutions.
