A Gamelan is a percussion ensemble from Indonesia. Our beautiful instruments from Bali, with bronze keys and intricately carved frames, have their own room in LSO St Luke's for workshops and also travel to local schools for outreach work.
We welcome new members, so come along if you'd like to try Gamelan. Each session costs £7 (£5 concessions). You can pay in cash for your first session, but thereafter you must pay using BACS or cheque.
Gamelan is open to over 18s and caters for all abilities and you don't have to read music or have previous musical experience. Come along and try something completely different!
