Born in 2002, Israeli cellist Alice Abram enjoys a versatile career as a soloist and chamber musician across Israel, the US, UK and Europe. She has participated in numerous prestigious festivals, including the Perlman Music Program, Britten Pears Chamber Plus, the Hans Keller Forum, Thy Chamber Music Festival, Encuentro de Música Santander, IMUKO, the Moritzburg Festival Academy and Musethica. Alice has received guidance from distinguished artists such as Leonid Gorokhov, Daniel Müller-Schott, Laura van der Heijden, Jérôme Pernoo, Steven Doane and Gary Hoffman. Her chamber music experience includes collaborations with Thomas Riebl, Daniel Blumenthal, Annette von Hehn, Tony Nys, Milana Chernyavska and Jakub Haufa, as well as mentorship from the Nash Ensemble and the Jerusalem, Heath, Artemis, Takács and Endellion Quartets.

As an orchestral musician, Alice has performed with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, the Ra’anana Symphonette,and the Young Israeli Philharmonic. Her artistry has been recognized with scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF) and has also received generous support from the Susanne Beer, William Barry, Albert Cooper and Chizel Educational Trusts.

She is the recipient of the St. James’s String Prize at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she recently finished her Bachelor’s degree as an Allen Ford Scholar under the tutelage of LSO principal cellist Rebecca Gilliver. Starting September 2026 she will pursue her Master’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of John Myescough. She will be supported by the Help Musicians and Countess of Munster Trusts. Alongside her studies, she will serve as a Benedetti Foundation Ambassador for the 2026/2027 season.
