Sir John Eliot Gardiner conducts Symphony No 2 from the Russian great Tchaikovsky and incidental music from Schubert’s Rosamunde. He is also joined on stage by Portuguese pianist Maria João Pires who performs Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 27.

Change of programme
In a change to early listings, please note that the concerto being performed in this concert will be Mozart Piano Concerto No 27, instead of Piano Concerto No 20.

  • Programme notes are digital and donation points use contactless technology.
  • An official NHS QR code poster is displayed at the entrance to the venue, so visitors can 'check in' on the NHS Test & Trace app.
  • Audience members are asked not to arrive earlier than 30 minutes before concerts.

What if I or someone I know develops Coronavirus symptoms before the concert?

Please stay at home if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 or if you’ve recently been in contact with someone who has the virus.
