Clarity of sound, richness of tone and an unconcealed emotional connection to the music: Christian Tetzlaff brings his signature sound to LSO St Luke’s this autumn – a chance to see one of the most in-demand international violinists in an intimate chamber setting.
In 2015, The Guardian wrote that Tetzlaff’s interpretation of Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the LSO was ‘the greatest performance of the work I’ve ever heard’. This season, he continues a run of spellbinding collaborations with an LSO Artist Portrait series, including four chamber music concerts at LSO St Luke’s. Tetzlaff has assembled an outstanding line-up of musical colleagues as he explores the varied dynamics of the violin when partnered with a range of instruments.
