In light of the current government rules regarding gatherings, all public performances and workshops at LSO St Luke’s have been cancelled or postponed until further notice. Initially this period covered all public events from Monday 16 March up until Tuesday 30 June 2020, and it has now been extended to include all events in July 2020.
We appreciate your support during this time, and ask that you bear with us and the Box Office as ticket-holders are notified. If you have booked a ticket for something that’s been cancelled, you will be able claim a refund or exchange your tickets and the Barbican Centre Box Office will be in touch soon. A large number of events at the Barbican and LSO St Luke’s are being cancelled and postponed, so we ask that you are patient and avoid contacting the Box Office directly at this stage.
Want to know more about classical music but not sure where to start? Make the most of your lunchbreak and enjoy a free, 45-minute informal concert at LSO St Luke’s.
In this concert, get to know Associate composers on the LSO Soundhub Scheme, as LSO musicians perform their adventurous new music.
This term we’ll be exploring music by American composers. There will be introductions from presenter Rachel Leach, who’ll tell you more about the music and the instruments, and you’ll have the chance to ask Rachel and the musicians your own burning questions.
Each concert begins at 12.30pm and lasts for 45 minutes. The Café is open for light refreshments before the concert from 11.30am and after the concert until 2pm.
