A solo showcase for the London Symphony Orchestra’s brilliant young co-principal trombone Peter Moore – including a new piece written specially for him by Roxanna Panufnik.

When Peter Moore was appointed co-principal trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra in 2014 he made history: at the age of just 18, he was the LSO’s youngest ever member. The Barbican has offered him a Europe-wide showcase as part of the ECHO Rising Star series, and to have commissioned a new piece for him from Roxanna Panufnik – a composer with a uniquely original and communicative voice.

Promoted by the Barbican.
