The Concert
Make lunchtime musical with a free, bite-size concert, suitable for everyone over the age of 5. Be the first to hear new music by emerging composers on LSO Discovery’s schemes, including new works created specially for this unique venue – a tropical oasis in the heart of the City.
While our venue LSO St Luke’s is closed for a programme of works and upgrades for much of 2025, we’re taking LSO Discovery on tour all over London. For this concert, we’ll be exploring the second biggest conservatory in London, in the Barbican, where the LSO is Resident Orchestra.
Event and Access Information
Please note that this is primarily a standing event. The concert will start with an introduction on the Conservatory Terrace, before moving into the Conservatory for the performances, which will take place in different locations throughout the space.
We have a limited number of accessible tickets, which can be booked by Barbican Access Members. Please contact tickets@barbican.org.uk or call the accessible ticketing line from 10am–4pm (Monday–Sunday) on 020 7101 1188.
The Conservatory entrance, for ticket and bag checks, can be found on Level 4.
With the exception of guide dogs, dogs are not permitted inside the Conservatory.
Large items, including large bags and luggage, are not permitted inside the Conservatory.
Concert not suitable for under-5s.
