The Concert
Join us for a heartwarming evening of music as the LSO Discovery Choirs take centre stage to celebrate the culmination of their Autumn term. This special concert not only showcases the remarkable talents of our young singers but also serves as a fond farewell to their home, LSO St Luke’s, which is set to undergo renovations in the coming year.
The Music
The Juniors will start with their spirited performance of Sparkle and Shine from Nativity, followed by a magical rendition of the beloved Let It Go from Frozen. Their joyful energy will light up the evening. Meanwhile, the Seniors will set a more reflective tone, beginning with the melancholic Sign of the Times by Harry Styles and transitioning into Billie Eilish’s moving What Was I Made For? from the Barbie soundtrack, a poignant reflection on identity and purpose. Their set will conclude with Stevie Wonder’s timeless classic Isn’t She Lovely, a heartwarming celebration of love and life.
As the evening unfolds, both choirs will join forces for two collaborative performances. Together, they will deliver the haunting beauty of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, showcasing their combined vocal strength. The concert will then end with the festive Carol of the Bells, bringing the evening to a joyful close.
The Performers
The talented young singers of the LSO Discovery Choirs, under the guidance of their dedicated conductors, bring their passion and hard work to life in this memorable celebration of music and community. Come and experience an evening filled with joy, emotion, and the power of song as these remarkable performers share their love for music with you.
