Trusts & Foundations
Help us to reach more people
As a registered UK charity, the LSO relies on the generosity of charitable trusts and foundations in order to fulfill its mission and charitable goals: to make the finest music available to the greatest number of people.
The support of trusts and foundations enables LSO Discovery, the LSO’s education and community programme, to reach over 60,000 people a year through a wide range of programmes designed to encourage all ages and abilities to engage with and participate in creative music-making.
How we make a difference
Through inspirational projects involving a diversity of partners including LSO musicians, LSO animateurs, music conservatoire students, Local Authority Music Services, teachers and community groups, LSO Discovery aims to enhance existing music provision and raise aspirations through a series of workshops, concerts and mentoring schemes.
The LSO is hugely grateful for the support it receives from charitable trusts, statutory funders and community partners
