BBC Radio 3 lunchtime concert attendee
What’s interesting is that your programme seems almost experimental, bringing together the different and unusual. I like that it doesn’t just do standard [repertoire] all the time.'
LSO Discovery lunchtime concert attendee
'The event was a real success and everyone loved the venue and commented on how professional it was. Thanks to you and your team for helping us out when we had the technical glitches and for their effort whilst we were clearing away at the end of the night. It was a really great event so very many thanks once again.'
Nadia Duggal, Easynet
‘Soul sensation Corinne Bailey Rae joined the likes of Elton John when she performed an intimate one-off session at a former Finsbury church this week. Following in the footsteps of James Brown and Bruce Springsteen, they prove that LSO St Luke’s in Old Street is fast becoming a firm favourite with music’s superstars’.
Islington Gazette
'I would to thank you for making us feel so welcome yesterday afternoon. It was a great opportunity to see a wonderful building.'
Ms Del Bravo, Headteacher, John Betts Primary School

Jenny Middleton, Urban Caprice
'One of the best small venues I've played in.'
Bruce Springsteen
'A very funky venue.'
Elton John
'I felt compelled to email you just to say how wonderful it is that you have renovated St Lukes for a useful purpose. My interest stems from starting my family tree and I found out that my gt gt gt grandparents got married at St Lukes in 1835 so I did a search on the internet and found it. I read about it falling into disrepair so well done to the LSO for breathing new life into it. I wish it happened more to some of the beautiful buildings that we have lying empty and derelict.'
Samantha Colvill
‘as with all concerts at the Jerwood Hall in LSO St Luke’s, expect the acoustics to be excellent and get tickets early as it may prove popular’.
Islington Gazette
‘I love this place and am a frequent lunchtime listener’
