LSO Discovery Days

LSO Discovery Days offer the opportunity to immerse yourself in the life and music of specific composers. Taking place during the day of an LSO concert, each Discovery Day includes access to the morning rehearsal*, a talk on the composer from a guest speaker, chamber music performed by LSO players, and often Q&A sessions with the artists. You are then welcome to book tickets for the evening concert at the Barbican.

Previous Discovery Days have focused on Mahler, Shostakovich, Haydn, Elgar, Dutilleux, Prokofiev, Strauss, James MacMillan, Stravinsky, John Adams and Mozart, among many others.

Discovery Days take place at the Barbican and LSO St Luke’s, and you can attend the whole day for £16 (£12.50 concessions) or the afternoon only for £10.

For more information please call Helen Innes on 020 7382 2512 or email helen.innes@lso.co.uk.
