Sir Colin Davis – Beethoven Piano Concertos and Nielsen Symphonies
Beethoven’s five piano concertos are among the great favourites of the piano concerto repertoire and this season Japanese pianist Mitsuko Uchida explores their beauties with the LSO and Sir Colin Davis. It complements Sir Colin Davis’s acclaimed cycle of Nielsen symphonies which he continues with the LSO in May, October and December 2011.
