Working in the Candide Discovery Room

Digital Technology Group

The Digital Technology Group (DTG) is open to young people (13-20) in Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Redbridge or Newham.

In the workshops which are led by Gareth Anthony, the Group makes music with PCs, instruments, and voice, and work towards performances each term. Come and use the well-equipped Candide Discovery Room to make grime, rock, hip hop, classical, or any style you like.

The Candide Discovery Room has 10 Apple eMac computers with a range of audio software including Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reason, Cubase and Sibelius. In addition to this a good selection of microphones, acoustic and electric instruments are available for recording. The DTG also has access to a large library of orchestral samples from the LSO's back catalogue.

DTG meets Mondays 4pm–7pm during school term time.
