The LSO runs two schemes for advanced musicians at music college in London: the String Experience Scheme and the Wind, Brass and Percussion Scheme. Each year final year or postgraduate students audition to take part, gaining valuable experience. Former participants of these schemes have gone on to become full time members of the Orchestra.
