The summer term series of Friday lunchtime concerts which will explore music with an American theme, featuring music from across the pond. It was in the 20th century that American music really took off with great composers such as Copland, Barber, Gershwin and Bernstein leading the way. Join Rachel Leach, LSO and Guildhall School Musicians in exploring this music further.

This week we will hear Dvořák's 'American' Quartet and Barber's Adagio, played by the LSO string quartet:
