with LSO First Violin Maxine Kwok-Adams and violinist Sarah Chang
Due to popular demand, Sarah Chang and Maxine Kwok-Adams have agreed to do another Hangout. Last time we talked about Sarah's high-profile career as a soloist, how she got started in music, how she and Maxine first met and what it takes to be a musician today.
Maxine and Sarah are great friends and will be joining the Hangout from the US, where they will be on holiday together!
We have seven places for the public to join this Hangout. To get involved you sign up by posting a comment on this thread on Google Plus. (NB you will need to sign in first, or register if you are not already on Google Plus).
If you cannot take part in the actual Hangout we will be streaming the conversation live on our YouTube channel, and it will also be recorded for later viewing. You can ask questions via the comments fields on these pages, or tweet @londonsymphony using #lsohangout.
What are Google Plus Hangouts?
If you haven't already heard of it, Google has come up with a new social network called Google Plus, and within this they provide a great service called Hangouts.
These are live video streams between 10 people, in which everyone can be seen and heard. All you need is a computer, internet connection and a webcam with microphone. Headphones are also useful.
Find out more about Google Plus and join here.

Thursday 26 April 2012, 1pm
with Maxine Kwok-Adams and Rhys Watkins
Our first live Google Plus Player Hangout took place on Thursday 26 April 2012 with violinists Maxine Kwok-Adams and Rhys Watkins.
The topic for the Hangout was what to wear at a concert - both on and off stage. Should the audience dress up or not? Are the men's white tie and tails old fashioned and sending out the wrong message about classical music?
