Family Arts Festival 2015
The Family Arts Festival will return from 9 October – 1 November 2015. Check back in the next few months to see what the LSO has on offer!
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
In the 2013 autumn half term, the inaugural Family Arts Festival (run by the team who brought you the Cultural Olympiad) took place up and down the country. From music to theatre, circus, art and dance, the Festival was designed with all generations in mind – not just the kids – and was a great success.
In 2014 the Festival was repeated, with the LSO's 'LSO in Wartime: Create an Opera in a Day' event proving hugely popular (browse photo gallery here).
Each Festival sees hundreds of cultural events for families take place up and down the country. For more information and to sign up for the Festival's e-news, visit the main website:
FAMILY ARTS STANDARDS
The LSO is proud to adhere to the Family Arts Standards. This kitemark has been developed to help families find arts/cultural activities that are genuinely suitable for them. All organisations that are signed up to the Standards guarantee to provide activities that family members of all ages can enjoy together. We are committed to welcoming families with clear information, helpful staff, good facilities and considered pricing.
